Clearlake Avenue, between 16th Street and Madison Street, will be reduced to two lanes in each direction beginning Tuesday, October 13th, to install an overhead sign on the pedestrian walkway. Installation of the sign is expected to be complete on Wednesday, October 14th, weather permitting.

Drivers should avoid the area if possible and be aware that the extent of the installation could reduce the lane closures further after the morning peak period.

I like the new Welcome to Springfield signage. It looks good!
