NINE PEOPLE TO BEGIN SERVING ON SPRINGFIELD’S BICYCLE ADVISORY COUNCIL

Mayor Tim Davlin today named nine individuals to serve on the Springfield Bicycle Advisory Council. The council will act as an advisory body on bicyclist issues; analyze routing, operation and the safety of bicycles and their riders. Members will also evaluate and make recommendations for signed shared roadways, the use of and installation of bicycle racks and signalization.

Named to the Council are David A. Sykuta, chairman, Dr. Daniel Adair, John Allen, Janet L. Cooper, Michael Cummins, Kevin Greene, Michael F. Higgins, John Pohlman, and Terry Farmer. more
